Oliver Wellness

Are you looking for a root cause practitioner who will look at your symptoms, identify what is preventing you from being at ease in your body, and help you build a plan that addresses your unique needs?

At Oliver Wellness, we don’t quick-fix symptoms. We search for the underlying drivers of hormonal imbalances, digestive issues, seasonal allergies, eczema, acne, anxiety, depression, infertility and autoimmunity. Working together, we’ll dig for the root causes of your dysfunction using a food and symptom tracker, nutritional assessment and functional labs.

Women often suffer a wide range of symptoms that feel random and unassociated. However, these trace back to the same few root causes – gut issues, blood sugar imbalance, poor diet, toxicity, and lifestyle stressors. Addressing these foundations supports every cell, organ and system in the body, optimizing your body’s innate ability to heal.

Are you ready to build your foundations rather than chase symptoms?

Are you done with random supplements,
faddish diets, and expensive bio-hacks?

Do you need more bio-individual support than the medical system is offering you?

What is Nutritional Therapy?

“A foundational, holistic approach to wellness that focuses on allowing the body to heal itself through a properly-prepared, nutrient dense, whole food diet and well-balanced lifestyle.”  (Nutritional Therapy Association.)

Conventional healthcare matches a drug to a symptom. That has its place in acute cases; however, drugs do not create health. Nutritional therapy believes that symptoms are evidence of sick cells. Cells need sufficient nutrients and a healing environment or the body starts moving toward metabolic dysfunction, inflammation, immune issues, food sensitivities, hormone imbalance, anxiety, depression, fatigue, and more. Instead of treating the symptom, we look for the cause of the symptom – the underlying deficiency or imbalance.

We believe the body is intricately woven with a person’s beliefs, feelings and experiences. Every part has the potential to affect every other part. We honor the needs of the whole person and the uniqueness of the individual. We honor the body’s innate wisdom to heal when properly supported.

Nutritional Therapy rests on four foundations:

  1. A nutrient-dense, whole foods diet (getting the most bioavailable nutrients through proper hydration, mineral balance, fatty acids and protein)
  2. Good digestion (the healthiest diet doesn’t do you any good if you can’t break down and absorb the nutrients in your food)
  3. Blood sugar balance (to fuel all the jobs your body has to do)
  4. Healthy stress management (stress depletes minerals, slows digestion and spikes blood sugar)

What does Nutritional Therapy NOT do?

·   Diagnose

·   Treat symptoms

·   Replace your doctor
